Ground Breaking / Ribbon Cutting/Open House: The Chamber will invite our membership as well as city and county officials to attend your ceremony and will secure press coverage of your event.
Internet: The Chamber of Commerce offers you the opportunity to market your business not only to the local area but to the world through our website. Our Membership Directory allows visitors to the Chamber Website to search for a member business or oganization by name, category or service.
Insurance Benefits: Individuals and businesses can benefit from a variety of value-added insurance products to make shopping for coverage easier for you. Chamber members can also select from products with special benefits or features. Available products include medical plans, dental, income replacement, life, retirement, long-term care, vision, and medical discount cards. All of the products are available through a network of independent insurance agents in our community.
Business Referrals: Thousands of businesses and individuals contact the Chamber of Commerce each year for referrals. Our policy is to refer Chamber of Commerce Members only. We also encourage Chamber Members to use other Chamber Members for products and services.
Low-Cost Adverstising: Take advantage of our professionally targeted advertising right to the business community on-line, in print, or via fax.
Membership Decal: Openly advertise your commitment to excellence in business by proudly displaying this decal.
Mailing Labels: Target your business advertising with the Chamber's exclusive member list. This list is available to Chamber Members at a surprisingly low cost. The Chamber Staff updates the list weekly and includes the appropriate contact name.
Literature Display Rack: The Visitor Rack at the Welcome Center is utilized by many shoppers and tourists who visit Camilla and Mitchell County. Keep us supplied with your most recent brochure and we'll make sure it is displayed. Non-Member literature is not displayed.
Meeing Space: Enjoy use of your Chamber's Board Room at no cost during the week day operation hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Call to reserve your date and time.
Newcomer Package: This package includes general information pertaining to education, housing, shopping, healthcare, utilities, and the quality of life in Camilla and Mitchell County, as well as helpful moving tips. Tell newcomers about your business. Give us your brochure, coupons, or special offers and we will include them in the package.
Leadership Mitchell: Leadership Mitchell is a community based program designed to meet the needs of our region through informed, committed, and effective leadership. Established in 1984, this well recognized and respected program unites a diverse group of present and potential leaders to study exciting components of today's Mitchell County. Sponsored by the Camilla Chamber of Commerce, Pelham Chamber of Commerce, UGA/Mitchell County Extension Service and the Mitchell County Development Authority, the program prepares and encourages particpants to take active roles in their community.
Business After Hours: This informal, early evening gathering provides an opportunity for business, regardless of size, to form new associations in the Camilla area and enhance those already established.
